This webinar with journalist and war correspondent Azzurra Meringolo explores women’s contributions to war reporting, from trailblazers like Clare Hollingworth, Martha Gellhorn, and Lee Miller to the figures who inspired her own path. Drawing on her research in the Arab world, she will discuss anti-Americanism, the youth-led Egyptian revolution, and the experiences of activists and exiles.

Through her work – including “Le loro prigioni” and other reports on detention and conflict – Meringolo will reflect on the emotional toll of testimony, how to remain human, and what young people can learn from these stories.
