A taste of tomorrow

Highlights from the SBRB Project’s 2024 Plenary Session

The SBRB project’s annual plenary session kicked off on May 7th in Trento, Italy, bringing together 80 students from 26 high schools across nine nations. This year’s theme, “A Taste of Tomorrow,” focused on topics like hate speech, food, and sustainability. The event began with team-building activities at San Cristoforo and continued with an opening ceremony at Palazzo della Regione on May 8th, featuring speeches from local leaders and presentations from participating schools. On May 9th, attendees explored Trentino’s cultural and industrial heritage with visits to Arte Sella and local sustainable businesses. The final day, May 10th, included a conference on food sustainability and a guided tour of Paneveggio Nature Park, wrapping up with a volleyball match and farewell dinner. The event was a blend of learning, exploration, and camaraderie, perfectly capturing the spirit of the SBRB project.

As the final day wrapped up, the spirit of the SBRB project shone brightly. Students and teachers left with new friendships, a deeper understanding of sustainability, and lasting memories. Here’s to the incredible journey we shared and to future years of learning and growth together!
